Administrative Services Office

Mission Statement:

To provide professional, effective and efficient support services for all employees, colleagues and clients of the department.  The Administrative Services Office (ASO), managed by the Administrative Services Manager (ASM), is comprised of the following key areas: Fiscal, Human Resources, Information Systems & Technology, Internal Support Services (Reception and Messenger services), and Library & Research.

Primary areas of ASM responsibility:

  • Manages budget preparation, submittal and implementation
  • Manages departmental purchasing processes
  • Manages departmental Safety and Emergency Preparedness Programs
  • Manages appropriate access and retention of Department Records (Archives)
  • Coordinates all department-wide facilities management to include office leases, build-outs and moves
  • Coordinates the State building operations occupied by the Department
  • Coordinates the federal billing rate for attorneys with external consultants
  • Coordinates assignments and allocation of departmental employee parking
  • Coordinates Language Access services
  • Serves as departmental ADA Officer
