- Download the presentations and videos zip file. Due to the size of the files, it will take a few minutes to download.
- Extract the files to your computer. The presentation and the videos must be located in the same folder in order for the slideshow to play properly.
Instructions for 2003 MS PowerPoint
- Download the presentations and videos zip file. Due to the size of the files, it will take a few minutes to download.
- Extract the files to your computer. The presentation and the videos must be located in the same folder in order for the slideshow to play properly.
- Embed the video (or audio) files into the presentation.
- Open the PowerPoint presentation.
- Navigate to the slide where the file will be embedded.
- Delete the existing box.
- Select Insert, Movies and Sounds, Movie from File (or Audio from File).
- Browse to the location where the movie (or audio) file is located.
- Select the file.
- Press OK.
- Select “Automatically” or “When Clicked” as to how you want the movie (or audio) to start in the slideshow.
- This will insert the video or audio directly into the presentation as an image that can be moved and resized. The video or audio will play automatically or when you click on the image, depending on the option that was selected.
- After you have embedded all of the video/audio files, you will need to package the file. Select File, Package for CD, and follow the instructions to package for CD or package for folder.
- When you are ready to show the PowerPoint presentation, use the version that you have packaged.
