HYCF COMMIT/DISCHARGE DETAIL

The HYCF Commit/Discharge Detail screen displays detailed commitment and discharge information that is entered by the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility for a juvenile.

DESCRIPTION OF FIELDS

  • PHOTOGRAPH DATE – the date a photograph of the juvenile was taken at the facility.
  • ENTERED BY – the abbreviation of the agency that entered the commit/discharge information; (HYCF = Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility).
  • LAST UPD – the date that the commit/discharge information was last updated.
  • CIR – circuit that the offense for which the juvenile was committed originated; 1 –Honolulu, 2 – Maui, 3 – Hawaii and 5 – Kauai.
  • PRI COMMIT OFFENSE – the primary offense for which the juvenile was committed.  Show me the complete list.
  • SEC COMMIT OFFENSE – the secondary offense for which the juvenile was committed.
  • LOCATION GEN – the general location of the juvenile while under the jurisdiction of the facility.  An example of a general location is YCF = Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility. Show me the complete list.
  • SPEC – the specific location of the juvenile while under the jurisdiction of the facility. Examples of a specific location are AH – Aloha House, BB – Bobby Benson, etc.  Show me the complete list.
  • COMMITTED – the date the juvenile was committed to the facility.
  • COMMIT TYPE – the type of commitment, examples are S – Short Term, 19 – To Age 29, 20 – To Age 20, etc.  Show me the complete list.
  • DAYS – the number of days the juvenile is committed to the facility.
  • CONTROL TYPE – the amount of security or control required for the juvenile.  Example of  control type is MIN – Minimum.  Show me the complete list.
  • PROBLEM(S) – a list of up to three potential problems that the juvenile may have.  Examples of problems are A – Anger, DA – Drug Abuse, DT – Drug Treatment, etc.  Show me the complete list.
  • EXPECTED DISCHARGE – the date of expected discharge from the facility.
  • NOTIFY VICTIM – an indicator (Y or N) to notify the victim upon the release of the juvenile from the facility.
  • NOTIFIED – a flag (Y or N) to indicate whether or not the victim was notified of the release of a juvenile when notification is required.
  • ACTUAL DISCHARGE – the actual date of discharge.
  • DISCHARGE TYPE – type of discharge from the facility.  Examples of discharge type are DC – Discharge, FC – Family Court, FU – Furlough, etc. Show me the complete list.
  • DISCHARGE TO – the person the juvenile was discharged to.
  • SOCIAL WORKER – the social worker assigned to the juvenile while the juvenile is under the jurisdiction of the facility.
