INVESTIGATOR MISSING/WANTED ADD/UPDATE

MISUPD

The Investigator Missing/Wanted Add/Update screen allows a user to add or update the information concerning the investigator in the case of a missing or wanted juvenile.  Required fields are in red and the update cannot be confirmed if one or more required fields are missing.  Letter of Apprehension, Letter of Furlough, and Letter of Parole will be displayed in red, if applicable to the juvenile.

DESCRIPTION OF FIELDS

  • JJIS ID – the unique identifier for the juvenile in JJIS.
  • POLICE ID – the unique identifier assigned by the reporting agency.
  • SSN – the juvenile’s social security number.
  • NCIC – the juvenile’s National Crime Information Center number.
  • LAST NAME – the last name of the juvenile.
  • FIRST – the first name of the juvenile.
  • MIDDLE – the middle name of the juvenile.
  • SEX – the juvenile’s sex code; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. M for male).  Show me the complete list
  • DOB – the juvenile’s date of birth.
  • AGE – the juvenile’s current age.
  • SJO – a display field indicating if the juvenile is a serious juvenile offender.
  • APPR – the total number of offenses for the juvenile in JJIS.
  • ETHNICITY – at least 1 ethnicity code for the juvenile must be entered; up to 5 total entries can be made; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. CA for Caucasian).  Show me a complete list
  • SCHOOL – the school the juvenile is attending; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. 266 for Roosevelt High). Show me a complete list
  • PHYSICAL DESC AS OF DATE – entered by the user to indicate the date a change was made to the juvenile’s physical descriptor fields.  For a new case the date will default to the current date.
  • M/W STATUS – the missing or wanted status type; an abbreviation is displayed. (e.g. RUN, MIS, ESC. etc.).  Show me a complete list
  • DATE – the date the juvenile is reported to be missing or wanted.
  • HEIGHT – the juvenile’s height entered in 3 digits (e.g. 503 for 5 feet 3 inches).
  • WEIGHT – the juvenile’s weight entered in 3 digits (e.g. 110 for 110 lbs).
  • SKIN TONE – the juvenile’s skin tone; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. FAR for fair).  Show me a complete list
  • POL RPT – the police report number.
  • EYES – the juvenile’s eye color; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. BRN for brown).  Show me the complete list 
  • HAIR – the juvenile’s hair color; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. BLK for black).  Show me the complete list
  • BUILD – the juvenile’s build; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. THN for thin).  Show me the complete list
  • SCARS/MARKS – any identifying SCARS/MARKS the juvenile possesses; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. TAT BACK for tattoo on back).  Show me the complete list
  • DESCRIPTION – the description of the scars/marks.
  • FOUND/CLOSED DATE – the date the juvenile was found or the date the case was closed.
  • INVESTIGATOR – the investigator’s name.
  • INVESTIGATOR’S PHONE – the investigator’s phone number.
  • RELATION TO JUV – the relationshipof the complainant to the juvenile; an abbreviation is displayed (e.g. FA for father).  Show me a complete list
  • LAST NAME – the last name of the complainant related to the juvenile.
  • FIRST – the first name of the complainant related to the juvenile.
  • MIDDLE – the middle name of the complainant to the juvenile.
  • ADDR – the address of the complainant related to the juvenile.
  • RES – the residence phone number of the complainant related to the juvenile.
  • CITY – the city of the complainant related to the juvenile.
  • STATE – the state of the complainant related to the juvenile.
  • ZIP – the zip code of the complainant related to the juvenile.
  • BUS – the business phone number of the complainant related to the juvenile.
  • MISC – any pertinent notes regarding to the missing/wanted case.
